Satya Niketan building was 50 yrs old, collapsed amid repairs: Delhi Police

The Satya Niketan building was around 40 to 50 years old and collapsed during repair work taking place in the basement, Delhi Police said on Sunday. Police added that the building had five upper floors and was being used as a PG accommodation. One person was killed and several others, including students, are trapped in the building debris.
