Saudi Arabia bans 50 names ìncluding 'Rama'

Saudi Arabia's interior ministry has reportedly banned 50 names they argue contradict the culture or religion of the Kingdom. Some names on the list are allegedly banned because they are considered "blasphemous," non-Arabic or non-Islamic. Some of the forbidden names include - Linda, Alice, Binyamin (Arabic for Benjamin), Malek (king), Malika (queen) and Rama (Hindu god) among others.
