Saudi Arabia to store crude oil in Singapore from 2027

Saudi Arabia and Singapore announced plans to store Saudi crude oil at Singapore's Jurong Rock Caverns from the second half of 2027. The move aims to bolster supply security in Asia after the US-Israeli war with Iran disrupted oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz. Saudi Aramco will sign an MOU with Singapore's Energy Market Authority and JTC Corp.
