Saudi blocked Munir's visit after UAE outreach: Ex-Pak officer

Former Pakistan Army officer Adil Raja has claimed that Saudi Arabia quietly rebuffed Islamabad by allegedly blocking Army Chief Asim Munir’s proposed visit to Riyadh after the UAE President’s trip to Pakistan. He suggested the move reflects growing strains in Pakistan–Saudi ties, at a time when Islamabad remains heavily dependent on Gulf financial support to stabilise its economy.
