Saudi extends ceasefire proposal to Houthis via Oman: Report

Saudi Arabia reached out to Houthis through Oman with a proposal for a two-week ceasefire and opening of direct talks, Lebanese newspaper Al Akhbar, affiliated with Hezbollah, reported. The kingdom reportedly wants to use the ceasefire period to address Houthis' humanitarian demands and reach a deal. The proposal came after Saudi's talks with US, Egypt, Pakistan and Oman, it added.
