Saudi forced Trump to reverse Project Freedom by suspending US' ability to use its bases: Report

Donald Trump's surprise announcement of Project Freedom on Monday angered Saudi Arabian leadership, which then forced Trump to reverse his decision, NBC reported. Saudi Arabia reacted by disallowing US military aircraft from taking off from Prince Sultan Airbase or from flying in its airspace. A call between Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman failed to resolve the issue.
