Saudi Arabia's Defence Ministry said on Wednesday that it intercepted seven drones heading towards an oil field in the country's east. "Interception and destruction of...drones in the Empty Quarter heading towards the Shaybah field," the ministry posted on X. This comes as Iran launched fresh attacks on the infrastructure of Gulf countries amid the Middle East war.
