Saudi OpenAI engineer arrested for bugging conference room

Abdulrahman Alfozan, 35, a Saudi national working as an OpenAI engineer, was arrested on October 9 in the US for allegedly planting a covert audio recording device in an executive conference room at OpenAI's San Francisco office. A second device was found in his bag. He faces up to 5 years in prison if convicted.
