Saudi reduces oil production as Hormuz closure fills storage

Saudi Arabia has started reducing its oil production as its storage tanks are nearing their capacity due to the near-blockage of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran, NDTV reported. The kingdom has rerouted some of its oil supplies through the Red Sea. The decision to cut oil production comes after United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Iraq also reduced their production.
