Saudi to restart work on $26.6 bn Grand Mosque expansion

The Grand Mosque in Mecca is set to undergo a $26.6 billion expansion, nearly two years after work stopped in the wake of a crane collapse at the site which left 107 people dead. The development of the Grand Mosque and its surrounding area will resume after the annual haj pilgrimage.
