Savarkar helped British & betrayed Mahatma Gandhi, Nehru: Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has said that Vinayak Damodar Savarkar helped the British. Gandhi shared a letter, claiming it was written by Savarkar to the British, and said, "[In the letter] Savarkar has stated 'I beg to remain, sir, your most obedient servant'." "Savarkar betrayed leaders like Mahatma Gandhi [and] Jawaharlal Nehru...by signing the letter out of fear," he added.
