Sayani Gupta's directorial debut pulled from NZ's film fest over copyright dispute

Actress Sayani Gupta's directorial debut, 'Aasmani', has been taken down from The Indian Film Festival of New Zealand (TIFFNZ) lineup over an alleged copyright dispute. TIFFNZ director Petrina D'Rozario confirmed the decision and said that the move was not because accusations against the film were found to be true, but was a precautionary step to keep TIFFNZ a fair platform.
