SBI equity scheme offers 16% annual growth, could turn ₹10,000 SIP into ₹1.78 cr in 20 yrs

SBI Focused Fund, an open-ended equity scheme investing in a maximum of 30 stocks, has offered 16.12% returns for direct growth since its inception in September 2004. According to Financial Express, a ₹10,000 monthly SIP for 20 years at 16.12% annualised returns would grow the investment to ₹1.78 crore. The scheme's 8.47% funds are invested in Google-parent Alphabet.
