SBI expects to recover ₹8,000 cr from written-off accounts in FY22

State Bank of India (SBI) is expecting to recover around ₹8,000 crore from written-off accounts, including from National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) resolved cases, in FY22. During the October-December quarter, SBI recovered ₹1,500 crore while between April-December 2021, it recovered ₹5,600 crore, SBI said. The bank's non-performing assets dropped from 4.9% in Q2 FY22 to 4.5% in Q3 FY22.
