SBI launches new FASTag design to reduce time at toll plazas

State Bank of India (SBI) introduced a new design for its FASTag on August 30, 2024, aimed at improving vehicle identification and toll collection efficiency for Vehicle Class-4 (cars, jeeps, vans). This initiative is expected to reduce travel time for commuters and increase income for toll plazas by minimizing the misuse of tags meant for different vehicle classes.
