SBI Life Insurance fined ₹1 crore by IRDAI for rule violations

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has imposed a ₹1 crore fine on SBI Life Insurance. The insurer violated rules including those related to dealings with insurance web aggregators and outsourcing activities, as per the regulator. An advisory was also issued to the company for denying multiple insurance claims.
