SBI pays extra pension by mistake, then recovers it; court orders ₹3.6-lakh refund

The Delhi HC ordered SBI to refund ₹3.6 lakh that it recovered from a deceased government retiree's wife after paying her more pension than her entitlement. The court noted that SBI overpaid the beneficiary due to its own errors and that she had no role to play in it. It observed that the beneficiary wasn't informed of the recovery either.
