SBI posts highest ever quarterly net profit of ₹8,432 crore in Q3

State Bank of India reported its highest ever net profit of ₹8,431.9 crore for the October-December quarter, a jump of 62% as compared to ₹5,196 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Interest earned for the quarter rose 4.41% YoY to ₹69,678 crore. SBI's net interest income (NII) rose 6.48% to ₹30,687 crore from ₹28,820 crore in Q3 of 2020.
