SBI shares bought for ₹5,000 in 1994 now worth ₹3.7 lakh, claims man; tweet viral

A man's tweet showing "power of holding equity" through the example of 'forgotten' SBI shares bought by his grandparents in 1994, has gone viral. He claimed 50 shares were bought for ₹5,000 and their current value (taking 1:10 stock split into account) has risen to ₹3.7 lakh. "Investments are best when forgotten," said one person. "Proper cinema stuff," said another.
