SBI to halve free ATM transaction limit for salary accounts from Oct 1

SBI will halve the number of free monthly transactions available to Salary Package Account holders at other banks' ATMs from October 1, 2026. Currently, customers get 10 free transactions a month, regardless of location, but the limit will fall to five. Cash withdrawals beyond the limit will cost ₹23 plus GST, while non-financial transactions will cost ₹11 plus GST.
