SBI to hire up to 4,000 employees for new loan-collection team: Chairman

The State Bank of India (SBI) plans to hire 3000 to 4000 employees over the next year to build a dedicated loan-collection team, SBI Chairman CS Setty said. "They won't come from the existing employee base; instead, we will look to leverage our subsidiary," he added. "They will be on the field but centrally managed by us," Setty further stated.
