SBI's loss-giving default has fallen a lot: Chairman on ECL norms

On the implementation of expected credit loss (ECL) norms forcing banks to take a lot of write-downs, State Bank of India's (SBI) Chairman Dinesh Khara said the bank's loss-giving default has come down quite a lot. He also expects that the better underwriting practices which were put in place will ensure the probability of default is much lower.
