SC adjourns Bengal's plea against Milan Pradhan bail
The Supreme Court adjourned West Bengal's plea challenging interim bail granted to Congress' Nandigram bypoll candidate Milan Pradhan till Wednesday. The court allowed him to contest the October 6 election, saying 'Let him contest peacefully.' Justice Bagchi recused citing conflict of interest. Pradhan faces six criminal cases, including four murder charges, from the 2007 Nandigram agitation.
