SC asks EC to resolve TMC factions' symbol & name dispute within 3 months

The Supreme Court on Monday directed the Election Commission to resolve the dispute over the TMC name and election symbol between rival factions within three months. The timeline will begin after four weeks, allowing rival faction to file responses and evidence. The direction followed ex-West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee's plea challenging the EC's order freezing the party name and symbol.
