SC asks K'taka to comply with order directing Cauvery water release to TN

The Supreme Court on Monday directed Karnataka to comply with the Cauvery Water Management Authority (CWMA) order directing the release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu. The authority had earlier directed Karnataka to release 3,500 cusecs of water per day for 15 days to Tamil Nadu. The court observed that Karnataka is already releasing the water and not refusing altogether.
