SC asks UP govt to include forensic auditor in SIT probing Ram Temple donation row

Supreme Court on Monday directed UP government to include an independent forensic auditor in Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing alleged embezzlement of donations in Ayodhya Ram Temple. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for UP government, told court that SIT will be headed by Kiran S IPS. A bench led by CJI Surya Kant also sought status report on the investigation.
