SC denies custody parole to jailed Unitech MD Sanjay Chandra

The Supreme Court refused to grant "custodial parole" to Unitech MD Sanjay Chandra as he said he was finding it difficult to raise funds and comply with court orders. Chandra would complete one year in jail in few days, having been arrested on August 9, 2017. SC also directed to disburse ₹25 crore deposited by Unitech to homebuyers seeking refund.
