SC grants divorce in 'Mahabharata-like' marital dispute, asks man to pay ₹5 crore to ex-wife

Supreme Court granted a divorce to an estranged couple and ordered the husband to pay one-time settlement of ₹5 crore to his ex-wife. Calling the over 10-year-old marital dispute a "Mahabharata-like" battle, the court said the "marriage is dead". The woman's lawyer said the husband, a practising advocate, filed over 80 cases against her, her family members, and her lawyers.
