SC judge seeks Raj HC chief's removal, writes to CJI Surya Kant

Supreme Court judge Justice Sandeep Mehta has urged CJI Surya Kant to appoint a Chief Justice from another state to head the Rajasthan High Court. He alleged Acting Chief Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma is misusing powers and manipulating case listings to favour "rich litigants". Mehta further alleged that "corruption and favouritism" were being overlooked despite "damning evidence".
