SC objects to total closure of Delhi Metro in view of CJP protest, govt to reconsider

Supreme Court strongly opposed a complete shutdown of Delhi Metro stations and raised concerns over train cancellations and road restrictions in view of the CJP protest. "Everybody doesn't have a car…Our concern is about the…commuters who come from Gurugram, Greater Noida…for their livelihood…citizens who travel by public transport," SC said. The government has agreed to reconsider restrictions.
