SC orders linking of VAHAN, SARATHI, eDAR, IIB in 4 weeks

The Supreme Court directed Centre, states and UTs to integrate VAHAN, SARATHI, eDAR and IIB portals within four weeks to curb fraudulent motor accident claims. The court also ordered states to upload accident data, form SITs, and issued contempt notices to heads of several insurance firms for non-compliance with earlier directions.
