SC orders probe into PWD contracts awarded to Arunachal CM's family

Supreme Court directed CBI to initiate a probe into public works contracts linked to Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu’s family. The court order came after a PIL alleged that major development orders worth around ₹1,270 crore were awarded to firms linked to the CM or his relatives. Arunachal Pradesh government opposed the petition and had described it as "sponsored litigation".
