SC orders resumption of arbitration over ₹24,713-cr Future-Reliance deal

The Supreme Court has ordered Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) to resume its arbitral proceedings in ₹24,713-crore Future Retail's merger deal with Reliance. Both Future Group and Amazon have consented to the resumption of arbitral proceedings before the SIAC. Earlier, the Delhi High Court had stayed arbitration proceedings between the two parties in January.
