SC orders status quo on liquidation of Bhushan Power & Steel

The Supreme Court has stopped liquidation proceedings of Bhushan Power and Steel Ltd (BPSL). The decision came weeks after the apex court rejected JSW Steel's deal to acquire the BPSL and ordered the company to be liquidated. The court passed the order considering the fact that JSW's limitation period for filing review against the Supreme Court's judgment hasn't yet over.
