SC orders WB govt to pay 25% DA to state employees within 3 months

The Supreme Court on Friday ordered West Bengal government to pay 25% Dearness Allowance (DA) to state government employees within three months. The court also posted the matter to be heard next in August. The West Bengal government had challenged Calcutta High Court's order which directed the state government to pay DA at the central rate.
