SC permits Abhishek Banerjee to travel abroad for eye surgery

The Supreme Court on Monday permitted Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Abhishek Banerjee to travel abroad for three weeks for an eye surgery. The SC set aside Calcutta High Court's earlier order refusing to relax the restriction on Banerjee for foreign travel. The court said that every individual has a right to go abroad and the right to chose medical care.
