SC questions Cong for moving HC in case related to K'taka bypolls

The Supreme Court has questioned Congress leaders for approaching the High Court with regard to bypolls on Karnataka Assembly seats, following the disqualification of 17 MLAs, when the matter was pending before it. The court has asked the Election Commission to file an application for staying the proceedings before the High Court. Notably, the bypolls are scheduled for December 5.
