SC refuses 'Mahaprabhu Jagannath' release, asks makers to release after Rath Yatra

The Supreme Court refused to allow the immediate release of the animated film 'Mahaprabhu Jagannath' during the Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra, permitting the makers to release it after the yatra concludes. The Orissa High Court had earlier stayed the film's nationwide release, observing that it did not strictly adhere to the religious text of the Skanda Purana.
