SC refuses to ban 'Yadav Ji Ki Love Story', explains why it differs from 'Ghooskhor Pandat'

Supreme Court on Wednesday dismissed a petition seeking a stay on release of 'Yadav Ji Ki Love Story'. "We fail to understand...how the title of film can reflect the community in bad light," the top court noted. While distinguishing it from 'Ghooskhor Pandat', the bench stated, "The expression 'ghooskhor'...means corrupt. Therefore, a negative meaning was being attached to the community."
