SC refuses urgent hearing of plea for NEET-UG 2026 re-exam in CBT mode

The Supreme Court on Monday refused an urgent hearing of a plea that sought the 2026 NEET UG re-exam on June 21 to be conducted through the Computer-Based (CBT) mode. "They (NTA) are reholding the exam. The kind of pressure they have. We will post after vacation," the apex court said. Currently, the exam is conducted in a pen-and-paper format.
