SC rejects MakeMyTrip's trademark infringement suit against Google

The Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed a trademark infringement lawsuit filed by MakeMyTrip against Google. The travel booking company had accused Google's ads program of using its trademark 'MakeMyTrip' as a keyword to promote the website of its rival Booking.com. The apex court noted that users won't confuse Booking.com for MakeMyTrip.
