SC reserves order on Centre's OBC creamy layer plea

The Supreme Court reserved its order on the Centre's plea seeking prospective application of its March 11 ruling on OBC creamy layer classification. The Centre warned retrospective application would cause "administrative chaos" and sought a two-year deferral. The judgment had held OBC candidates cannot be excluded from reservation solely based on parental salary income.
