SC seeks Centre's response over plea of 26 Indians forced to fight war in Russia

The Supreme Court on Friday sought responses from the Central government, the Ministry of External Affairs and India’s Ambassador to Russia over the pleas of 26 Indians forced to fight in the war against Ukraine in Russia. Alleging that they were deceived into joining the Russian military, the family urged the authorities to locate them and repatriate them safely.
