SC seeks govt's reply on framing policy on compensation for COVID-19 vaccine-deaths

The Supreme Court has sought the government's reply on framing a policy to compensate families of people who died due to adverse effects of COVID-19 vaccination. The apex court stated that COVID-19 deaths "need not be treated differently" from deaths linked to COVID-19 vaccines. "Ultimately, the entire vaccination drive was a response to the pandemic," the court said.
