SC seeks Gyanvapi Masjid Committee's response on ASI survey request

The Supreme Court sought the Gyanvapi Masjid Committee's response to a plea filed by Hindu worshippers requesting an Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) survey of the Varanasi mosque's sealed area. "There are important evidence and material relating to the temple within the sealed area," the application filed by worshippers claimed. The court has scheduled a hearing on December 17.
