SC should not be dragged into politics: CJI Surya Kant amid protests

Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant on Monday said that the Supreme Court "should not be dragged into any politics" amid protests in Delhi. He urged lawyers to ensure the court's functioning and movement of staff, lawyers and litigants remain unhindered. His remark came after a special bench issued directions to protect peaceful protests and ensure access to justice.
