SC stays HC order stopping TVK MLA Srinivasa from taking oath

The Supreme Court stayed a Madras High Court order that stopped TVK MLA-elect Srinivasa Sethupathi from taking oath, calling the order "atrocious". SC added that instead of the High Court, the dispute should have been handled by an election tribunal through an election petition. The High Court had stopped Srinivasa Sethupathi after DMK leader KR Periyakaruppan challenged the poll result.
