SC stays HC order suspending life sentence of ex-BJP MLA Sengar in Unnao rape case

Supreme Court has stayed Delhi High Court order suspending life sentence of ex-BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar who was convicted for rape of a 17-year-old girl in Unnao in 2017. Earlier, the rape survivor expressed fear for safety of her children after the suspension of Sengar's life term. "My father was killed," she had said.
