SC stays Lokpal ruling on power to hear complaints against HC judges, calls it 'disturbing'
The Supreme Court on Thursday stayed the order of Lokpal that said it has jurisdiction to probe High Court judges. "Something very disturbing," the top court said on the Lokpal's reasoning. Meanwhile, Solicitor General of India Tushar Mehta submitted that the Lokpal's interpretation was wrong and a High Court judge was never intended to be brought under the Lokpal.
