SC stays order asking YRF to pay ₹15,000 over 'Jabra Fan' exclusion from 'Fan'

Supreme Court stayed an order of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission directing Yash Raj Films (YRF) to pay ₹15,000 to a Maharashtra teacher who felt cheated because the song 'Jabra Fan' was edited out of 'Fan'. The bench, however, questioned YRF for marketing the film with the song that was excluded. The teacher had filed a complaint in 2016.
